Castletown: Top 5 things to do

Hello Little People have an HQ! We are now based at The Square in Castletown - so we’ve been spending a lot more time in the town. And we can confirm it really is the #placetobe for kids and adults alike!

Here is our top picks for Castletown.

The Library

Located in the Town Hall building, the library is fantastic. Excellent selection of books, jigsaws and lots more. It’s light, airy, welcoming.

+ Good variety of Manx books (really handy for researching projects)

+ Excellent selection of children’s books.

Super job Castletown.

Barracks Square

This area has been developing for a few years now and it’s really ready to rock now. Castletown Commissioners have converted the roof top space on the Town Hall into a space where bands, acts and whatever else you like can perform. Watch this space!! It’s pretty cool.

Festival anyone?

Secret Pizza

Now, Secret Pizza has been a firm favourite of ours for a long time, Tom and the team have done a superb job here. Whether you are in at 4pm for a family friendly tea or living your best life on a Friday night with live music. It’s brill.

+ Our fave - Holy Shiitake Pizza with Garlic Herb Dip and Chilli Jam.

Table Tennis Tables

Table Tennis and Foosball are now in the Square - super fun. You can catch us out there most afternoons taking an afternoon break. But beware it’s a competitive affair. Chloe is currently top of the HLP leaderboard (but not for long!!)

Get in touch to challenge us to a game.

The Castle (obv!)

Well, it would be rude not to wouldn’t it. The fact that we can walk through this incredible heritage site everyday to get to work is amazing. And of course, Castle Rushen has a fond place in our heart because it was where we held our first show - A Beg Adventure.

We’ve heard you can get an annual pass to all the Manx National Heritage sites for a bargain price.
